First thoughts on Book material and binding methods

For my final book project, I've spent a lot of time considering various methods and designs for the book. I’m not a fan of the ultra light glossy paper used by Blurb. I prefer true photo paper used for actual prints. My first idea for this project was to print the photos on my standard Ilford GALERIE Silk Mono paper, but this paper is a single sided paper. So after further research, i found the ilford manufactured a double sided photo paper; Ilford GALERIE Prestige Smooth Luster Duo. So i decided to go with this paper, and now i’m currently considering the binding Methods, but as of now, i believe that spiral binding would be the  best choice for this project. I made this hesitant choice based on the weight of the paper. It’s a 270gsm paper. It very thick and heavy. Therefor, it would be hard to read a traditionally bound book made from said paper. Spiral binding would solve this problem completely. I have  several other Ideas that still need to be fleshed out for serious considerations.
