A short Bio about my self

My posts might be a little out of order, but this is a short Bio about myself. I felt the need to write this, so that my fellow classmate would get to know me better.

I'm 20 years old as of writing this post. I bought my first camera close to 9 years ago. (Around mid to late April will be nine years) It was an old Film SLR; The Fujica ST-605 with the Fujion 55mm F1.9 lens. Since then I've been madly enthralled in the photographic process. The work I idolize, and appreciate the most is Street Photography, War Photography, Documentary Photography. All three of the types of work have similar tones to them; They are documenting what actually happened, not abstracting it into an almost unrecognizable form.

This class is going to be my Sixth photography class. I'm actually a Computer Science Major, who is specializing in Software Engineering and Development (fancy title for Programming degree).

I really don't have any preferences on cameras, it doesn't matter if they are film or digital to me. But what makes the difference is the lenses. I prefer Olympus glass to all others. Especially the older OM Zuiko line of lenses. They render thing in their own unique way. For example, my most prized lens, the Olympus OMZ 35mm F2.0 has slightly swirly Bokeh from not having properly corrected Coma. This is one of the reason I treasure this lens. It has a beautiful rendering of the Bokeh, and the 3D pop it gives wide open is amazing.

While photography is my main passion and focus (pun intended), I'm also a fan of Japanese Animation, Light Novels, Manga (comic books), and lastly Console based J-RPG's (Japanese Role Playing Games). This anime season, I really exited because the second season Chuunibyo is airing! They're released every Wednesday onto the online stream site; Crunchy Roll. But that's enough about this topic. This more or less sums up me. Thanks for Reading.
